A project office that works for your organisation, not against it
We help Malaysian firms build sensible project management structures — without heavy process or unnecessary overhead.
Three ways we can help
Each engagement is scoped to fit where your organisation stands today. We work at your pace, not ours.
PMO Readiness Assessment
A focused review of how projects are currently planned, tracked and reported across your organisation. You receive a clear assessment and a short set of practical starting points.
- Assessment note and recommendations list
- One review session with your project leads
- Scope: two weeks
PMO Design & Toolkit
A structured engagement to design a right-sized project office, with simple templates, sensible reporting and clear roles. Tailored to your scale so it helps rather than burdens your teams.
- PMO design document and template toolkit
- Team workshop included
- Scope: four to six weeks
PMO Advisory Retainer
An ongoing advisory arrangement supporting your project office as it settles in. We help refine reporting, coach project leads and keep the structure useful as needs change, at a steady pace.
- Scheduled reviews and working notes
- Guidance between sessions
- Scope: three to six months
Structure without the burden
Good project management offices are built around how teams actually work. We focus on what matters and leave out what doesn't.
Right-sized from the start
We scope each engagement to your organisation. No over-engineered frameworks dropped on teams that weren't ready for them.
Ownership stays with your team
Our role is to set things up so your people can carry it forward. We don't build dependency — we build capability.
Practical templates, not theory
Every deliverable we produce is something people will actually open. Usable formats, clear language, no unnecessary complexity.
Reporting that informs decisions
We help design dashboards and reports that show status clearly — so leadership can act on information, not chase it.
Steady, unhurried pace
We work through things carefully. Rushed structures tend to collapse. We'd rather take the time needed to do it properly.
Malaysia-based, locally grounded
We understand local business culture and the realities of organisations operating in Kuala Lumpur and across Malaysia.
Not sure where your project office should start?
A short conversation is usually enough to map out a sensible path. We're happy to listen before recommending anything.
Things people usually ask
What does a PMO actually do in a small to mid-sized firm?
A project management office in a smaller organisation usually handles coordination rather than control. It provides shared templates, tracks progress across teams, and gives leadership a consistent view of where things stand. The size and shape of the office depends on how many projects are running and how much clarity is needed across them.
How long does it take to set up a working project office?
Most organisations can have a functioning structure in place within four to eight weeks, depending on how much is already in place. Our PMO Readiness Assessment helps establish a realistic picture before any design work begins, so there are no surprises on scope or timeline.
Do we need to hire a full-time PMO lead first?
Not necessarily. Many organisations benefit from setting up the structure and tools first, then assigning ownership once there's clarity on what the role actually involves. Our advisory retainer can also bridge the gap while a permanent arrangement takes shape.
What is included in the PMO Design & Toolkit engagement?
The engagement produces a PMO design document (covering structure, roles and reporting lines), a template toolkit your teams can use straight away, and a workshop session to walk key people through what has been put in place. The output is practical and handed over at the end of the engagement.
How does the advisory retainer work month to month?
Each month includes a scheduled review session, working notes on any issues that came up, and guidance between sessions when questions arise. The focus shifts as your office matures — early months tend to address setup questions, later months move toward refining reporting and coaching project leads.
Are these services available for organisations outside Kuala Lumpur?
Yes. While we are based in Kuala Lumpur, most of our work can be delivered remotely or with occasional on-site sessions where helpful. We have worked with teams across Peninsular Malaysia and are happy to discuss what arrangement suits your location best.
